Jonathan R. Davis was born and raised in Midland, Texas. After
studying Russian and Polish in the former Soviet Union and
Poland and graduation from Texas A&M University, Mr. Davis
attended Baylor Law School. He was admitted to the Bar in
1984. He has been active in his community, serving on various
charitable boards including the West Texas A&M Club, Hospice
and the Concho Valley Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
A significant amount of Mr. Davis' legal practice involves
representation of financial institutions, including banks
and credit unions, across west and central Texas. In addition
to handling loan documentation, U.C.C., foreclosure, repossession,
loan work-out, and bankruptcy matters, Mr. Davis has assisted
financial institutions and their bonding companies in the
investigation and recovery of losses caused by employee embezzlement
and borrower fraud. His work also regularly includes representation
of small businesses and rural landowners.
